If you have needs not found in this list of available ministries, please contact the church to discuss your need with our Care Pastor. God has called us to serve and disciple our community. Discipling goes beyond a salvation ministry to serving fellow Christians in a way that will draw them closer to God and strengthen their spiritual walk. That is the focus of the Community of Faith Care Ministry.

Spiritual Counseling

All of us find ourselves in times when our faith is challenged. Our care Pastor is available to provide spiritual counseling and help you find your way back on the correct path. Their goal will be to help you focus on God’s presence in your life and how you can practice his plans for transforming your life into His image. Sometimes is simply takes refocusing on God’s presence in your life or just someone to talk through your struggle with. Our Care Pastor will help you determine if this is your best approach or if you need professional counseling.

Benevolence

Sometimes difficulties creep up on us and we find ourselves needing some help. In these unexpected situations, our Community of Faith family does not have to walk alone. Our Care Pastor can help provide financial counseling and, if warranted, some small financial assistance. Follow this link to complete the application for benevolent help. Our Care Pastor will contact you to further discuss your need and what support we can provide.

Visitation at Hospitals, Nursing Homes, or with Shut-Ins

When our Community of Faith family find themselves in any of these situations, having someone to pray with and over them can bring an awareness of God’s presence. Often, we need to be reminded we are not alone no matter where life has taken us. Our Care Pastor is available to visit our Community of Faith family in where they are, or to spend time on the phone with them, praying with anyone who needs help and support.

PRAYER

Prayer is an important part of our walk with God. He is a loving father who wants to hear his children’s voice. When you need someone to pray along with you, we are here to help. Our Care Pastor is available to pray over your needs along with almost 200 other members of the Community of Faith family who have volunteered to lift you up in prayer. We have several ways you can request prayer. Follow the online link, or by completing a request on the envelope provided at church. Our Care Pastor and prayer partners from our Community of Faith family would consider it an honor to pray with you over any need you may have.
