Grief Group - Teens

The team at Community Counseling realizes the past few years have been a tough time for many people. It has been especially difficult for teens dealing with loss. They may be feeling sad, angry, or just plain numb. When we lose someone we care about, we go through something called grief. Grief can be hard, so this group is designed to help teens dealing with loss.
Community Counseling is hosting a Grief Care for Teen Group. This group is open to any student in middle school or high school. The five-week group meets Wednesdays, 6:00pm-7:30pm, starting March 22, 2023. There is no charge to attend this group.
The group will be led by Chris Norman, MDiv, MA, LMFT from Community Counseling. The group will meet on the campus of Community of Faith (16124 Becker Rd, Hockley, TX 77447). The group is not religious in nature, and open to any student regardless of faith tradition, if any. The group is for any teen dealing with loss, the loss of a loved one, or anything else that brings up the feelings of grief.
